No Leftovers
→ Introduction
No Leftovers, a self-initiated project centered around community, collaboration, and, of course, leftovers. It opened up an opportunity for myself to curate an event to collaborate with multiple creative and passionate individuals living and working in Amsterdam to host this event. The event took place at La Louème, a shop specializing in preloved interior accessories and tableware. The menu, co-designed with Alex in Wonderland, focused on sustainable plant-based food, incorporating a variety of winter vegetables leftover from the season. To complement the meal, bottles of Piquette by Chateau Amsterdam were served. Piquette, made from the pressed grape skins left after winemaking, was the perfect fit for No Leftovers!
This project was heavily influenced by my love for food and my interest in researching how sharing food is fundamental to society.
